The H.P. State Co-operative Advancement of Professional Education Society (HIMCAPES) is a registered society organized with a view to establishing, maintaining and developing a teaching and research institute, namely the HIMCAPES’ INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION . The society intends to set up Schools of undergraduate and postgraduate learning under the Institute in emerging areas of education. The focus being on professional education in the disciplines of law, engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, journalism & Mass communication, etc., the HIMCAPES’ aims to achieve excellence in these and related fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
